Chelsea vs Liverpool: Mourinho to prove himself
Chelsea miserable season continued this week as the Blues have lost half of their ten league games this season, the latest were from the League cup after the west London club were knocked out of the tournament by Stoke City in a penalty shootout.

The reigning Premier League champions Chelsea to host Liverpool in Saturday’s game at Stamford Bridge. The Blues are 15th in the standings with just 3 wins out of their 10 league games.
Meanwhile, the pressure is on Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho after his team knocked out of the League cup against Stoke on Tuesday. The Portuguese is under intense pressure and could be sacked if his side loses to Liverpool on Saturday.
However, Chelsea will be without the services of star striker Diego Costa with a rib injury suffered in club’s Capital One Cup loss at Stoke.
The absence of Spaniard this weekend would be a huge boost for Liverpool, as the 27-year-old was the winner in last season’s league meeting at Anfield.

Liverpool travel to London, hoping to secure their first premier league win under the German tactician Jurgen Klopp.
The Merseyside club are currently find themselves in ninth position and their newly appointed manager Jurgen Klopp is looking for a first Premier League win after two consecutive draws away at Tottenham (0-0) and at home to Southampton (1-1).
The Reds’ last win came over a month ago, in a 3-2 win over Aston Villa at home and has racked up just three goals in five road trips this season.
The former Dortmund manager has won his first home game at Anfield against Bournemouth in the League cup last night, and he will be aiming to grab all three points over the Blues this weekend.
Meanwhile, Klopp will be without some of club’s best players in the form of Daniel Sturridge and Jordan Henderson both sidelines with injuries.
However, there is a good news for Reds fans as Klopp has confirmed that Christian Benteke could be available this Saturday. The Belgian forward scored a crucial goal against Southampton and was rested against Bournemouth on Wednesday.
