Are Tottenham set to experience Klopp’s buzz?

Tottenham Hotspur are all set to host Liverpool in a Premier League actions at the White Hart Lane on Saturday, October 17.

It will be Jurgen Klopp’s first game in his new managerial job against Spurs, who are unbeaten in the league since their loss at Manchester United on the opening day of the season. The 48-year-old German was appointed last week on a three-year contract.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, who spent the international break with the England squad, has stated that it was obvious that the Mersysiders players were eager to impress Klopp when the Reds will visit the north London club on this weekend.

The 23-year-old England international said: “Liverpool are going to have a new manager and they will be up for it. In the first couple of game everybody tries to impress a new manager so they will probably have that little five per cent extra. We expect that.”

“But we have out-run every team we have played and will be looking to do so again. The Liverpool players at England could not wait to get back to start working under Klopp. But I am focused on Tottenham and what we have to do.”

While the former Borussia Dortmund boss is a huge replacement at Anfield, He is known to prefer the 4-2-3-1 formation that he usually done during his tenure at the Westfalenstadion.

The German tactician won two Bundesliga titles, including the double league cup back in 2012, and guided the Bundesliga outfit to Champions League finale in 2013.

Tottenham are currently sit eighth in the league table, while Liverpool are 10th, a point behind Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Saturday’s game between two top four rivals will most likely give an indication as to whether or not finishing in the UEFA Champions League slots.
