Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are plotting a January move for Brazilian starlet David Luiz, according to The Mirror.
It is reported that the Blues defender has been on the Pep Guardiola’s radar since last summers and the German champions could now be willing to bring the 26-year-old defender to Munich in current transfer window.
The Brazil International, who joined the Blues in 2011 from Benfica, his current contract at Stamford Bridge is running until 2017 and the German side could be willing to spend £30m in the coming weeks in order to boost the defensive options.
Luiz has been struggling this season to make Mourinho’s first-team, and moving to The Bavarians might be a difficult decision for the Brazilian as he loves Chelsea and the fans love him too.
Chelsea have also set their transfer targets in this January and by selling Luiz in £30m to The Germans could be a good move by Mourinho, so that Chelsea could use those funds in the transfer market.
