Chelsea are reportedly planning a £7.5m move for Hamburg attacking midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu in the summer transfer window, according to the Daily Mail.
The 20-year-old Bundesliga starlet, who has still four years left on his current contract at the Imtech Arena.
Calhanoglu has been in fine form this season, netted 10 goals and 4 assists in 30 appearances.
It is understood that, Calhanoglu is attracting attention from Premier League giants, including Arsenal and Liverpool, who are also keen on Calhanoglu, but the Blues appear to be serious for his signature in this summer.
The report claims that The Londoners have scouted the Turkish youngster on multiple times and the Blues manager Jose Mourinho wants to pay around £7.5m for his services as he looks to strengthen his squad with fresh talent. However, Hamburg are looking in the region of £12m.
