Chelsea new signing Radamel Falcao’s wage

Chelsea have confirmed on Friday evening that they have secured the services of Colombian striker Radamel Falcao on a season-long loan from AS Monaco.

The 29-year-old has been struggled with his poor season at Manchester United in 2014-15, managed to score only four goals, starting on 14 occasions for the Red Devils last season following his return from a serious knee injury.

The South American had been known for his deadliest skills in forward line following 103 goals in 139 appearances for FC Porto, Atletico Madrid and Monaco together, but was failed much of his time at Old Trafford last season.

The Daily Mail have reported that the west London club will pay the Ligue 1 outfit £4.2m to take Falcao’s services on loan for the coming season whilst there’s also a clause that would allow the English club to sign him for £35m at any point.

Falcao were a taking a whooping £285,000-a-week at United, whilst the newspaper claims that the former Atletico Madrid star has take a huge wage cut (50%) to join the Premier League champions – about £140,000 at Stamford Bridge.
