Chelsea have reportedly made £7 million bid for Paris Saint-Germain’s talented youngster Adrien Rabiot, after he rejected a new contract offer from the Ligue 1 champions, according to the Metro.
The Blues have been alerted by the situation, with reports suggesting that Mourinho has launched a £7m offer for 19-year-old midfielder, who is one of the most exciting prospects in Europe.
Rabiot has made 25 appearances, scoring two goals for Laurent Blanc’s side last season and helped the Persians to topped the division for the second consecutive year.
Many top clubs are also keen on Rabiot’s signature, including the likes of Premier League champions Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United and Serie A champions Juventus, but reports have suggested that the France Under-21 international would only be interested in a switch to West London.
The Blues have already secured the services of Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas to replace the outgoing Frank Lampard, but Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho looks still keen on bringing another midfielder to the club this summer.
