Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko has joined the Italian club Roma on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent deal, the Italian club have confirmed the transfer.
The 29-year-old Bosnian striker, who joined City from Bundesliga side Wolfsburg in 2011, and has scored six goals in 33 appearances for the English club last season.
He won two league titles, FA Cup and the League Cup during his four-year spell at the Etihad.
Dzeko will join his compatriot Miralem Pjanic at Stadio Olimpico and wear No. 9 for the Giallorossi, who will start their campaign with a trip to Hellas Verona on August 23.
