Everton target La Liga ace

Everton are reportedly plotting a summer move for La Liga side Real Sociedad midfielder Ruben Pardo, according to reports from the Daily Star.

The report claims that the Toffees boss Roberto Martinez is keen on the 21-year-old as he look to bolster his squad ahead of European competition next season and made tentative enquiries about him in a deal worth £6m.

The Spaniard is regarded as one of La Liga’s top midfield talents, making 44 appearances across the campaign for Real Sociedad last season and recently penned a new contract extension with the club until 2018.

It is obvious that if Martinez unable to land Gareth Barry back to the Goodison Park this summer, then it’s believed that he will chase to sign highly-rated youngster Ruben Pardo from Real Sociedad.
