Inter Milan have reportedly lining up a £10m bid for the Ivorian midfielder Yaya Toure, according to the Daily Star.
Toure, who plays for the English club Manchester City, is widely expected to the leave the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season and Internazionale boss Roberto Mancini is believed to be interested in bringing the 31-year-old’s to the San Siro.
The Italian giants are thought to be willing to meet Toure’s wage demands and could offer him a coaching role after his playing career is over.
The attacking midfielder still has two years remaining on his current deal and the management have already refused to discuss his future at City.
Toure has scored 61 goals in 213 appearances for the former Premier League champions since joining the Citizens from Barcelona in 2010.
