Serie A giants Inter Milan are reportedly lining up a summer swoop for Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Jan Vertonghen, according to Daily Mail.
The Belgium international has been in rumours to be linked with a move away from White Hart Lane since Christmas time.
It is understood that the 27-year-old defender is upset with the club that Spurs will not make it to the Champions League next season, and he is considering leaving the club for top level European football in the summer transfer window.
Inter have already signed Nemanja Vidic’s from Manchester United, and are keen on Chelsea’s Fernando Torres and Man City’s Edin Dzeko.
According to the recent reports from Mirror, another Italian club Roma are also interested to be linked with Vertonghen this summer.
Vertonghen is likely to be a part of FIFA World Cup 2014 this year in Brazil, and he might make a final decision on his future move after the World Cup.
