Jack Wilshere on Manchester City radar?

Manchester City have reportedly turned their attention to Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, with Thursday’s Daily Mirror back page claims that City have decided to launch a £30 million bid to tempt England international away from the Gunners.

After a disappointing defence last season the Citizens have reportedly failed with two improved bids for Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling, who is set to leave Anfield this summer, which makes Manuel Pellegrini to turned their attention to another homegrown talent.

The midfielder recently suggested that he has no intention to leave the Gunners following another campaign disrupted by injury, but it remains to bee seen whether Arsene Wenger would be willing to discuss a deal for the 23-year-old starlet.

Wilshere has made 155 appearances for the north Londoners since making his debut in 2008.
