Jamaican attacker on Manchester United radar

Manchester United are reportedly keen on signing Jamaican attacker Leon Bailey, who plays for Belgian outfit Genk.

According to ESPN FC, the 19-year-old was scouted by chief scout Jim Lawlor during Genk’s 3-1 Europa League win over Sassuolo last Thursday.

Moreover, the report adds that the Red Devils are now ready to sign the wonderkid, who scored five goals in ten appearances in all competitions.

It is understood – host of European clubs are keeping a close eye on him including English clubs.

He was linked with a move to Ajax earlier this summer as well as snubbing Chelsea in the past to move to Belgium, as reported by the Mail.

Bailey has notched 15 goals in 59 first team appearances since his arrival at Genk.
