The Italian champions Juventus have reportedly stepped up their interest in Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen.
The Danish international is thought to have demanded a massive increase on his salary to £150,000 a week in order to remain with the Spurs, a figure almost double the club’s highest earner Hugo Lloris.
According to Gazzetta World, the Turin based outfit are more than happy to meet Eriksen’s salary expectations, while their Serie A rivals Inter Milan are also said to be interested in the midfielder’s services.
The 24-year-old still has two years left on his contract at the White Hart Lane and is a key player of manager Mauricio Pochettino’s squad for the ongoing season.
Eriksen joined the north Londoners in 2013, and has established himself as one of the greatest midfielders in the Premier League, contributed 16 goals and six assists during the last two seasons.
