Liverpool could make a summer bid for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, according to reports from Liverpool Echo.
The Reds are keeping an eye on an injured England international – Jack Wilshere, as a potential target this summer, who is struggling to get back into the Gunners’ first XI.
The 23-year-old is currently ruled out with an ankle injury that he picked up against Manchester United in November. Since then, Arsene Wenger has been using Tomas Rosicky and Francis Coquelin to the centre of midfield, which seriously leaves Wilshere’s position in doubt.
With Steven Gerrard is set to leave the Reds in order to join Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy at the end of the season, Wilshere is seen as an ideal replacement at the Anfield, as reported by the Daily Star.
