Liverpool are reportedly planning a January move for Spartak Moscow midfielder Romulo, according to reports from The Metro.
The 23-year-old midfielder is currently on the Reds radar for the summer hit-list following his sensational performance in the Russian football premier league.
However, Reds midfielder Lucas Leiva will miss the next few week’s games with a knee injury and the manager Brendan Rodgers is keen to sign a deal with the Brazilian before the January transfer window deadline.
The report claims, Liverpool are willing to pay around £7m fee to bring the midfielder at the Anfield, who has eight caps for his nation.
Meanwhile Liverpool currently sits fourth in the league table, eight points behind league leaders Arsenal and they are desperate to sign the perfect replacement option for Lucas Leiva due to his injury.
