Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku’s agent has insisted that the Belgian star could leave Stamford Bridge this summer, but at the same time he admitted that Lukaku’s future will ultimately depend on Jose Mourinho, whether he wants to keep him at the club.
The 20-year-old, who is currently serving his season-long loan with Everton, and is ready to return to the Blues at the end of the season.
Everton boss Roberto Martinez is keen to secure Lukaku’s services on a permanent basis, while Gunners and Spurs are also reportedly interested in the youngster.
“For the moment, Romelu belongs to Chelsea. He has two years left on his contract. It’s going to depend on Chelsea. After that, we’ll see together what the best options are if Chelsea decide to let him go,” Lukaku’s representative Henrotay was quoted by ESPN.
Lukaku has made 30 Premier League appearances for the Toffees and scored 14 goals this season. He will lead the Belgium in the World Cup 2014 in Brazil.
