Manchester City are reportedly prepared to launch £50m bid to sign Wolfsburg midfielder Kevin de Bruyne, as Paris Saint-Germain already register their interest.
The 24-year-old has established himself as one of the hottest property in Europe and is expected to leave the German outfit this summer.
City are said to be interested in the player’s signature and have made him a prime transfer target
but the Daily Mail claims that the French champions met with De Bruyne’s agent at the weekend about his potential deal.
It is understood – the English club have determined to spend significant money this summer, as they will bid as high as £50m for the Belgium international, although the Parisians are ready to match any financial package made by the former Premier League champions.
Meanwhile Wolfsburg are desperate to keep De Bruyne, who registered 20 assists last season and opened talks with the winger over a new deal next week.
De Bruyne has scored 19 goals in 69 appearances since joining the club from Chelsea in 2014 for a fee of £18 million.
