Man United plotting shock move to re-sign Nemanja Vidic

Manchester United are reportedly considering to re-sign former captain Nemanja Vidic in January if  the Serbian is allowed to leave Inter Milan, reports the Daily Express.

The 33-year-old, who joined the Inter Milan on a free transfer at the end of last season – ended an eight-year spell at Old Trafford.

The report claims that the Italian side are looking to offload him after failing to make an impact at San Siro, has made just eight appearances under Walter Mazzarri this season.

The Red Devils are in desperate need of defensive reinforcements and it is reported that they are preparing to offer Vidic a six-month contract when the transfer window re-opens in January.
