Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil is looking forward to yet another ‘stand-out’ performance as the Gunners prepare to face Manchester United this weekend at Old Trafford.
The Germany international has been in impressive form this season, scoring three goals in 10 league games, helping the Gunners to reach at the top five.
“[We need to] win every game, get as many points as possible and also be successful against the big teams, like we were against Chelsea,” the 28-year-old told Arsenal Player.
“We have the quality to beat any team and that’s what we want to show this season. “You can see that the big clubs at the top have quality, and that we have to win every game because of how tight it is at the top. Our goal has to be to look at ourselves. If we win the games, we’ll be at the top at the end.”
Ozil has challenged his team-mates to deliver another stand-out display to get all three points against one of their direct Premier League rivals Manchester United – just as they did when thrashing Chelsea 3-0 in September.
The north Londoners travel to Old Trafford hunting for a first Premier League success at the Manchester for over 10 years that could lead them to the top of the table.
