Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud pens new contract?

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has reportedly signed a new three-year contract with the north Londoners worth £130,000 weekly, which will make him at the Emirates until June 2018, as per the Daily Star.

The French striker was the Gunners’ 2nd top scorer in the Premiership last season, scoring14 goals.

However the report claims that the 28-year-old has penned a new deal that puts him among the top earners at the Gunners.

It will be interesting to see whether or not the deal is officially confirmed in the coming days.

The former Montpellier forward recently played in the Asian Cup final victory over Everton but was heavily criticised by the Gooners for his performance.
