Former Sky Sports pundit Rodney Marsh took to twitter to confirm that Real Madrid have accepted a bid for striker Karim Benzema from Arsenal.
The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move to the Gunners for some time, with Metro reporting that £45m is the amount to secure the player’s signature.
Marsh initially claimed on American radio station SiriusXM FC, before posting the same context on Twitter when replying to one of his fans. He also wrote there was ‘more to follow’.
Benzema joined Real Madrid from Ligue 1 giants Lyon in 2009 and has scored 133 goals in 281 appearances for the Spanish giants over the last six years.
