Rennes say they have yet to receive an offer from Arsenal or anyone else for the services of midfielder Yann M’Vila.

The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for the midfielder this summer, but reports have claimed that Arsene Wenger has now cooled his interest following one or disciplinary problems.

The reports have coincided with claims from Rennes president Frederic de Saint-Sernin that no offers have been made and it seems as though the likes of Barcelona are also having second thoughts.

“We have agreed with him that he can be transferred this summer,” he told RMC Sport. “There are several big foreign clubs interested in him. We are not doing anything to prevent him leaving right now – there have not been any offers.”

A fee of £15million could be enough to secure a deal but Wenger is thought to be pursuing other targets and has put M’Vila on the back burner.
