For many, Barcelona could be favourite to win the Champions League 2015..
There is no doubt that the La Liga champions are a top notch side, but – the Italian champions Juventus should not be overlooked for the most prestigious tournament in football.
Date: Saturday, June 6

Venue: Olympiastadion, Berlin
Juve manager Massimiliano Allegri knows how to win a game especially in a major tournament and if we look at their recent performance during their 3-2 aggregate win over Real Madrid. Allegri looks pretty confident with his attacking options, although who knows how to secure the possession battle against the Catalans.
We all know the Italian giants are good in the middle of the pitch with the help of their star players such as Pirlo, Pogba and Vidal, who can take over the game at any time. Vidal is known for his stunning skills that unsettle opposing defensive midfielders. Pogba is good at retaining possession. Pirlo is certainly quick with the ball, and most defences are focused on his passing rather than cutting him down.
The dual strike force – Alvaro Morata and Carlos Tevez are blessed with speed and will likely give a major headache to their opponent’s defence.
As described before, The Old Lady have been looked upon as the underdog by most experts, that means Barcelona have got intense pressure on their team to win this title, far more so than Juventus.
The Italian fans are hopeful that Juventus will beat Barcelona and can carve out their own chances just as they did against Real Madrid.
However, the Spanish giants are in the kind of form that they are able to annihilate any defence, meaning defeat would be far from a surprise.
Compared to Barcelona it could be said that Juventus have the sturdier defence. Their Speed on the counter with the fast moving talents of Carlos Tevez and Alvaro Morata, can also potentially cause problems. The deciding question however it seems is whether Barcelona’s attacking trio of Messi, Neymar and Suarez can be contained. Even if they play at 50 percent of their capabilities, such is their skill that you would still favour Barcelona to win the European title.
