Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that the League rivals Manchester United have the caliber to take the challenge for the Premier League title this season, despite their poor performance during the opening game against Swansea City last week.
Louis van Gaal was appointed as a new manager for the United over the summer, who has had an impressive pre-season, beating European champions Real Madrid, Valencia and Liverpool.
However, United had lost their opening game at home to Swansea City this season.
The 20-time English champions have made three signings so far including Luke Shaw, Ander Herrera and Marcos Rojo from Sporting Lisbon.
It is understood that the Dutchman is keen to sing more players ahead of the close of the transfer window.
