Newcastle United considering move for Conor Gallagher?
Newcastle United are reportedly prepared to up their efforts to secure a deal for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher in the summer transfer window.
With the Magpies edging closer to securing a spot in the Champions League, it is expected that manager Eddie Howe will receive the financial support necessary to strengthen a team capable of competing in both domestic and European competitions.
The midfield is an area where Howe seems keen to reinforce, and the Tyneside outfit have been linked to several potential signings.

While West Ham United’s Declan Rice and Chelsea’s Mason Mount have been mentioned as possible targets, it seems that Newcastle United are considering a move for one of Mount’s fellow teammates.
According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle United are eager to secure Gallagher’s services, as Howe is looking to bring in players who have experience playing in the Premier League.
The Magpies could offer him the chance to participate in Champions League football next season, as well as regular playing time.
The 23-year-old England international has been limited to only 18 starts despite making 42 appearances in all competitions this season.
He currently has two years remaining on his existing contract, but Chelsea are open to considering offers at the end of the season.
The Blues are expected to sell several players this summer in order to reduce their squad size and comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.
