Tottenham Scout Eintracht Frankfurt Striker Younes Ebnoutalib After Bundesliga Goal Streak

Tottenham Hotspur are keeping a close eye on Eintracht Frankfurt forward Younes Ebnoutalib, who has made a flying start to the Bundesliga campaign.

Spurs Scouts Watch Ebnoutalib Win It for Frankfurt

According to TEAMtalk, Tottenham representatives were at Deutsche Bank Park on Friday to see the 23-year-old score the only goal in a 1-0 win over Cologne. They also had the chance to check on Mikey Moore, who is on loan at the visitors, but Ebnoutalib stole the show with his decisive strike just over ten minutes from time.

The goal takes him to five league goals and eight goal contributions in seven appearances. His form has also reportedly caught the attention of Germany’s setup, with Jurgen Klopp said to be among those impressed.

Why Ebnoutalib Suits Tottenham’s Forward Line

Spurs have followed the striker for some time, so this was a progress check rather than a reaction to one big night. His mix of physical presence, movement and finishing is appealing, and at 23 he offers room to grow without being a pure long-term project.

That matters given Dominic Solanke’s difficult spell since his record move from Bournemouth. A fresh option up front would add welcome competition.

Should Tottenham Move Quickly?

Eight contributions in seven games is impressive, but defenders will adapt, and sustaining this output is the real test. Still, winning a tight game rather than padding the stats in a rout suggests genuine substance.

In my view, Tottenham are right to keep watching for now. However, if his form continues, his price and the competition for his signature will rise together, and hesitation could prove costly.
