Jude Bellingham Signs New Real Madrid Deal Until 2031 but Eyes Future Premier League Move

Jude Bellingham has committed his long-term future to Real Madrid with a contract running until 2031, although the England midfielder reportedly still harbours ambitions of playing in the Premier League one day.

Bellingham’s New Real Madrid Contract Details

According to TEAMtalk, the 23-year-old has agreed a two-year extension worth close to €30 million, including bonuses. That reportedly makes him the club’s second-highest earner behind Kylian Mbappe. Madrid’s wage structure has been eased by David Alaba’s exit, allowing them to tie down Bellingham after securing Vinicius Junior earlier this summer.

Saudi Arabian clubs showed interest, but his representatives reportedly made clear he had no wish to leave the Spanish capital.

Premier League Clubs Linked With Bellingham

Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City have all been mentioned as potential suitors in recent months. Bellingham has never played in England’s top flight, having left Birmingham City for Borussia Dortmund before joining Madrid in 2023.

Any move looks unlikely in the near future, with the midfielder said to be settled and focused on winning major trophies at the Bernabeu.

Our Take on Bellingham’s Premier League Prospects

A return to England feels like a story for the end of the decade rather than the next transfer window. With his deal running to 2031, Madrid hold all the cards, and any suitor would need a huge fee. Still, a move home in his late twenties would make sense for both player and league.
