Arsenal have reportedly made an enquiry for Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos with his agent over a possible move in January, reports The Mirror.
The 28-year-old, whose contract with the Los Blancos is valid until 2017, with speculation suggesting that Ramos in not in hurry to extends his new contract at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The North Londoners are keen to take advantage of Ramos’s situation and the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, who is thought to be an admirer of the Spaniard has reportedly made an enquiry over a potential move to the Emirates Stadium.
It is understood that Wenger has been handed a £20 million budget by the board to spend on the January transfer window.
Ramos has established himself a crucial figure for Carlo Ancelotti’s side, has made 13 League appearances for the club so far this season.
