Twitter reacts to Man United’s first signing of 2016 (Eric Bailly)

Manchester United have officially announced their first signing of the summer 2016 under Jose Mourinho era, with the club securing a deal to sign Eric Bailly from Villarreal.

The Ivory Coast international, who is considered as one of the second-best record of the Yellow Submarine’s defenders – featured in seven games during club’s Europa League campaign.

The 22-year-old centre-back has signed a four-year deal at Old Trafford, meaning Mourinho will rely upon the prospect as a regular next season.

There will surely be further signings this summer, with the Red Devils still being heavily linked with a move for PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
