Werder Bremen midfielder Aaron Hunt on Spurs radar

Tottenham Hotspur are pondering an end of season move for Werder Bremen’s Aaron Hunt, reported Kreiszeitung Syke.

It is understood, Hunt’s current contract is due to expire in this summer and Bremen are keen to extend his deal before the season’s end.

Southampton, Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Monchengladbach are also interested in the German international and could make a summer bid for his signature for the next season in the summer.

Spurs manager Tim Sherwood is desperate to bring the attacking midfielder at White Hart Lane this summer in order to bolster the squad despite worrying about his current situation at Premier League.

The 27-year-old has capped three times for Germany and has scored 42 goals in 205 Bundesliga appearances for the club so far, although he became a regular at Weserstadion first-team since 2004.
