Arsenal and Real Madrid Face €100m Bill for Juventus Star Kenan Yildiz

Juventus are reportedly ready to play hardball over Kenan Yildiz, with a fee of at least €100 million said to be the minimum for any suitor.

Juventus Hold All the Cards Over Yildiz

According to Fichajes, the Serie A club have no intention of cutting a bargain for the Turkey international, who has become one of Europe’s most exciting left-sided attackers. Arsenal and Real Madrid are both credited with admiration, but a nine-figure sum looks the bare minimum.

Juventus have previously feared losing the forward, yet his new contract has handed them control over his future. That strengthens their negotiating position, meaning any interested party must meet the valuation rather than haggle.

Arsenal’s Left-Wing Search

Arsenal have been hunting a high-calibre left winger since last summer. Yildiz was reportedly considered as an alternative to Vinicius Junior, though the Gunners ended up landing neither. Mikel Arteta is said to have a list of candidates to bolster that flank, and the club are believed to be well placed financially to spend big.

A January deal looks improbable, with Juventus unlikely to entertain offers mid-season. Next summer’s outcome could also hinge on whether the Bianconeri secure Champions League qualification.

Real Madrid’s Dilemma

Real Madrid’s interest is plausible, yet they have recently invested heavily in Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig. The Ivorian operates on the right, while Vinicius occupies the left, so splashing out on another wide forward may be hard to justify at the Bernabeu.

Our Take on the Yildiz Saga

In my opinion, Arsenal look the more logical destination. Their need on the left is clearer, and his talent would give Arteta a genuine focal point. Real Madrid, meanwhile, appear to have bigger priorities than another winger.

Juventus’ leverage cannot be overstated, though. If Yildiz keeps improving, €100 million may soon look conservative, and that could push suitors to act sooner rather than later.
