Chelsea eye Gabriel Moscardo swoop
Chelsea’s pursuit of 18-year-old Brazilian defensive midfielder Gabriel Moscardo seems to be gaining momentum, with reports suggesting the Blues are keen on securing him on loan for the upcoming season. Moscardo, who rose through the ranks at Corinthians before catching the eye of European giants, landed at Paris Saint-Germain earlier this year, albeit on loan back to his Brazilian club until the season’s end.
Despite stiff competition, Chelsea remain interested in Moscardo, with manager Mauricio Pochettino reportedly eager to add the talented youngster to his squad. With PSG likely to prioritise his development by sending him out on loan again, Chelsea see an opportunity to bolster their defensive midfield options with a cost-effective and promising talent.

While the Blues would prefer a buy option or obligation in the deal, PSG’s recent acquisition of Moscardo suggests that such terms may be difficult to negotiate. Nonetheless, his potential arrival at Stamford Bridge would provide Pochettino with valuable depth and versatility in midfield, offering tactical flexibility and cover in key areas.
With negotiations expected to commence soon between Chelsea and PSG, securing Moscardo’s services could prove to be a shrewd move for the London club as they aim to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming campaign.
