Everton have reportedly joined the list of clubs wanting to sign New York City FC striker Valentin Castellanos ahead of a potential move this summer.
The Argentina international had previously been linked with a move to West Ham United, as manager David Moyes looked to provide support for Michail Antonio in the attack.
The east London outfit remain interested in signing the 23-year-old forward in the coming weeks, but Tutto Mercato claims that Everton are now competing for his signature.
The report adds Newcastle United also hold an interest, whilst Serie A outfit Bologna are also keeping close tabs on Castellanos’ progress as well.
Castellanos is contracted to the MLS club until December 2025.
