Manchester United lining up move for Thomas Meunier?
Manchester United are lining up a swoop for Borussia Dortmund defender Thomas Meunier.
The Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag is said to be in the market for five new players, including a right-back, in the latter stages of the transfer window.
The Telegraph reports that the Mancunian giants are looking to replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka with Meunier and a fee of around €15m has been proposed to the Bundesliga outfit.
It remains to be seen whether Dortmund would be prepared to sell the Belgium international, who has scored three goals and provided seven assists in 62 games for BVB since his move from Paris Saint-Germain in 2020.
The 20-time Premier League champions could face fierce competition from Barcelona for the signature of the 30-year-old defender, who has two years left on his contract at Westfalenstadion.
The likes of Kyle Walker-Peters, Benjamin Pavard and Denzel Dumfries have also been linked with a move to Manchester United.
