Southampton defender Dejan Lovren on United’s Radar

Manchester United are planning a summer move for Southampton centre-back Dejan Lovren as Vidic replacement, according to reports in the Daily Mail.

The Red Devils manager David Moyes is believed to dive into the summer market in order to rebuild his defensive department, with Nemanja Vidic – who is ready to leave Old Trafford to join Inter Milan at the end of the season.

It is understood, Moyes is keen to bring the experienced defensive reinforcements and the 24-year-old defender is seen as a one of potential summer target at Theatre of Dreams, following a great debut season in EPL with The Saints and forming a commendable partnership with Jose Fonte.

The Croatia international has been in impressive form this season, making 23 appearances for the Saints.
