Real Madrid ready to move for Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-min?

Real Madrid have reportedly set their sights on a deal for Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min.

The South Korea international has contributed 24 goals and 10 assists in 45 appearances for Spurs last term, but he has struggled to find his best form during the 2022-23 season.

He scored five goals and provided two assists across 19 matches for the North Londoners this season.

Although, the 30-year-old has seemingly caught the attention of the European champions. According to the Evening Standard, Los Blancos have identified him as a potential option to bolster their frontline.

The La Liga giants are closely following Son during the World Cup, with the report suggesting that they were particularly impressed by his display against Portugal which sent the country through to the last 16.

Despite Madrid showing an interest, the report adds that the Premier League outfit are unlikely to entertain offers for the South Korean superstar in the near future.

The striker has scored 136 goals and registered 76 assists in 344 appearances for Tottenham Hotspur

Son is under contract with the club until June 2025.

As the FIFA World Cup in Qatar moves toward a final on December 18, Tottenham Hotspur set to return to the English Premier League on Boxing Day at Brentford. The Premier League live scores are scheduled at 12:30 pm UK time and can be followed with commentary on Flashscore.
