The Ivorian striker is understood to have joined the City for around 28 million pounds, who is currently on an international duty for the Africa Cup of Nations.
The 26-year-old has scored 36 goals in 73 appearances for the Swans since joining the Premier League club from Dutch side Vitesse in 2013.
“It’s a great feeling for me, it’s a big honour to be here and it’s a great challenge,” he told Manchester City’s official website. ” I think it’s a great decision for me – Manchester City is in the Champions League. It is a big club with great players and a lot of experience.”
Bony became the Premier League champions’ first January signing of 2015 and will wear number 14 shirt for the Blues.
