Manchester United have reportedly made a newly improved bid in order to secure the services of Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos, according to the Spanish newspaper El Pais.
Man United manager Louis van Gaal is keen on signing the centre-back, who still has two years left on his current contract at the Bernabeu.
The 29-year-old defender, who is currently with the Real Madrid squad for the pre-season tour of Australia and China – also wants to leave the 10-time European champions during this ongoing transfer window.
The Red Devils have made the latest offer of €60m for Ramos and once the Spanish club accept their offer, then the Premier League outfit will allow David de Gea to join the La Liga giants.
Los Blancos have been heavily linked with a move in signing the Spain international David de Gea from Manchester United. He has 12 months left on his contract at Old Trafford and has already refused am opportunity to sign a new deal.
