Twitter reactions as Tottenham thrash Newcastle 4-0 in the League Cup
Mauricio Pochettino’s side Tottenham Hotspur booked their place into the League Cup semi-finals with a sensational win over Premier League rivals Newcastle United 4-0 on Wednesday night.
Nabil Bentaleb scores the opening goal in the 18th minute and put Spurs 1-0 at White Hart Lane before Nacer Chadli doubled their lead one minute after the half-time.
Harry Kane then put it to 3-0, before Roberto Soldado finishes the game in 70th minute.
The Spurs will play Sheffield United in the last four, while the premier league smugglers Liverpool will take on Chelsea in the other semis.
