Arsenal eye Liverpool target Marco Reus
Arsenal are reportedly plotting a summer move for German striker Marco Reus, who has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool, according to Metro.
Reus, who plays for Borussia Dortmund as an attacker, he is widely regarded as one of the most talented young forward in Bundesliga football and has been impressing over the couple of years for both club and country.
Liverpool are desperate to make a move for the 26-year-old star after losing Raheem Sterling to Manchester City and have already secured a couple of new strike-force to Anfield including Christian Benteke and Roberto Firmino.
However, Reds manager Brendan Rodgers could face a stiff competition to land Reus, with Gunners are supposedly ready to make a offer more than £45m for the Germany world cup winner in a bid to strengthen their squad and push for a Premier League title challenge next season.
Reus signed a new contract back in February to remain at Signal Iduna Park but with the club missing out on European qualification last term has been consistently linked with an exit from the German club.
