Report: Arsenal to offer Mesut Ozil new contract
|Arsenal are reportedly planning to offer Mesut Ozil a contract extension after spending two years at the Emirates Stadium.
The Germany international became the Gunner’s record signing with a fee of £42.5 million (£140,000-per-week) when he joined the North Londoners from Real Madrid in 2013 and the midfielder still has two years left on his existing deal.
However, The Mirror claims that Arsenal are keen to extend the 26-year-old’s stay at the club after they found his consistent form throughout last season.
