Arsenal to Sign Real Sociedad ace Antoine Griezmann

Premier league leaders Arsenal are set to sign Real Sociedad winger Antoine Griezmann in January transfer window, according to The Metro.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has already targeted his potential signings in the next month, striker should be the priority. But apart from the forward line, Wenger is desperate to sign attacking midfielder in order to bolster his squad for the coming season as well.

The report claims, Sociedad midfielder Griezmann is possible bid in January who can add competition to the squad.

The 22-year-old Frenchman, who mainly plays as a left winger but can also be capable of playing as a striker. With his outstanding performance, Sociedad are currently sits 6th in the Spanish La Liga, 17 points behind the leaders Barcelona.

However, the Spanish club Erreala doesn’t want to lose the winger unless if any suitable offer comes in.

Griezmann had scored 10 goals, in 32 leagues with 5 assists in his last season and during this season, he has been in excellent form scoring 9 goals in just 12 starts in La Liga campaign.

I feel Wenger should buy this young talented star and he could be proved as the major asset for the Gunners in 2014.
