Arsenal are reportedly focusing on signing Montpellier’s Elye Wahi in the transfer window.
The 20-year-old has made a strong impact for La Paillade this season, with seven goals and one assist in 16 Ligue 1 appearances.
The French Under-21 international has scored 20 goals and set up four more in his 74 senior games for Montpellier.
His contract is set to expire in two and a half years.
Everton are reportedly keen on signing the highly-rated attacker, but Arsenal are also said to be interested in bringing him on board.
The North London club is said to be interested in signing Wahi and has reportedly been following his development for several months, Foot Mercato reports.
The report suggests that Arsenal have no intention of making a move for the French player this year, as they are happy with the current lineup of Gabriel Jesus, Eddie Nketiah, and Folarin Balogun.
Several clubs, including Juventus, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Liverpool, are said to be interested in Wahi and are monitoring his progress.
