Barcelona: Dos Santos sidelined for six months

Barcelona midfielder Jonathan Dos Santos has been ruled out for most of the La Liga season with a serious knee injury.

The 23-year-old Mexico international picked up the injury during training on Wednesday and he will undergo arthroscopic surgery on November 5, the club have announced.

Statement read on the club website, Barca’s medical services estimate Dos Santos, who made three league appearances for the La Liga champions this season, will not be availabe for around six months.
