Carlos Tevez doesn’t want Juve extension

Juventus forward Carlos Tevez has revealed that he has no intention of signing a new contract extension with the Italian champions.

The Argentine international, whose current contract is valid until the summers of 2016 – was heavily linked with a return to his homeland club Boca Juniors.

It was thought that the 30-year-old would sign a new contract to stay in Turin, but the forward has admits that he doesn’t plan to remain with the Old Lady past 2016.

I want to respect my contract until 2016. That’s my plan. I don’t want to extend; that’s not how I feel at the moment,” he told reporters at Buenos Aires airport.

Tevez has been in fine form, scoring 37 times in 71 games for the Bianconeri since he joined the club from Manchester City in 2013.
