Chelsea Eye Real Madrid Keeper Diego Lopez

Chelsea are reportedly planning a January move for Real Madrid Goalkeeper Diego Lopez, according to Sport.es.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is desperate to bring Spanish goalkeeper to the West London in January, It would be a surprising move if the 32-year-old arrives at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea’s current experienced shot stopper Petr cech, who is performing excellent in premier league with 16 appearances so far is an undisputed number one option for Mourinho and according to the current situation, I feel Mourinho doesn’t need any new keeper to bolster his squad.

Lopez joined Real Madrid in January on a €3.5m contract from Sevilla. His current contract is running until June 2017, and Mourinho is quite confident about his move ahead of a January transfer window.

The 32-year-old Keeper has played 17 times for The Madrid in this La Liga season so far and it would be difficult for Carlo Ancelotti to sell him to premier league club Chelsea. Mourinho should consider to bid more than previous signing amount to claim the services of keeper Diego Lopez.
