Liverpool eye Manchester City Striker Edin Dzeko

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing the Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko from Manchester City this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

Dzeko, 29, has failed to make an impact this term and is expected to leave the club at the end of the season after spending four-and-a-half years at the Etihad.

The report has suggested that Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is looking for a quality frontman next season, following Daniel Sturridge’s injury problems and Dzeko is on the wish list of Reds’ summer targets, who could be available in the region of £25m.

Dzeko arrived to City in 2011 from the Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg and appeared in 187 total matches, scoring 72 goals, whiles registering 39 assists.
