Javier Hernandez wanted by Southampton?
Southampton have reportedly interested in signing Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez in the summer, according to The Mirror.
The 26-year-old, who is currently serving his loan spell at Real Madrid, has attracted interest from Southampton – who are ready to join the race for his signature at the end of the season.
It is unlikely that United manager Louis van Gaal will keep the Mexican at Old Trafford for the next season and the report claims that the Saints manager Ronald Koeman is desperate for a reliable striker into his squad.
Meanwhile it has been reported earlier this week – Wolfsburg are confident of bringing the striker to Bundesliga ahead of next season.
Hernandez has found it difficult to make into Carlo Ancelotti’s first team, scoring four goals in 20 appearances in all competitions for the Champions League winners.
