Juventus considering January move for David de Gea?

Juventus have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea in the January transfer window.

De Gea has made 495 appearances for the Red Devils since joining the club in 2011, but his future is now being called into question.

A recent report claimed that the Red Devils are unsure whether to trigger the one-year extension in the player’s contract, which is due to expire next summer.

The 20-time English champions are also believed to be looking at potential replacements with the likes of Jordan Pickford and Emiliano Martinez.

If the Premier League giants do not extend De Gea’s contract, according to Calcio Mercato, Juventus would be interested in signing the 31-year-old stopper on a free transfer.

The Old Lady are believed to be considering the Spaniard as a potential replacement for Wojciech Szczesny.

De Gea’s future at Old Trafford looks uncertain, but after starting all six top flight matches this season, he is set to be involved in the upcoming Manchester derby on Sunday.
