Leicester City: Andy King pens new four-year deal

Leicester City midfielder Andy King has put pen to a paper on a new four-year deal to remain with the Premier League champions until at least 2020.

The Welshman has been with the Foxes since 2007 and is the only player, who won the League One, Championship and Premier League titles at the King Power stadium.

“It’s obviously massive for myself and it’s something I worked hard for,” the long-serving Foxes player said. “I’m really grateful the club have given me this.

“I can really knuckle down and know that the club want me as part of their future is a massive reward. It means a lot – [Leicester] have given me everything I’ve had in football.”

The 27-year-old has racked up 331 appearances for the club, as well as becoming the leading goalscorer in the process, with 59 goals.
